Blog Foreword

Let's see how long this will last for.

Anyway, welcome to what should hopefully be a side project for me for the foreseeable future, watching, analyzing, and reviewing theatrical Disney cartoons. Now I'll answer some questions so y'all don't have to ask them.

So what exactly will be covered here? I currently plan on covering everything from 1921 (Newman Laugh-O-Grams) to 1969 (It's Tough to Be a Bird).

You might be asking now, what about the rest? Well, first off, I imagine this will take a couple of years. When I finish with It's Tough to Be a Bird, it'll simply depend on if I feel like writing the rest, so you never know.

If any lost cartoons (a handful of silent Disney cartoon count in this category) surface in the middle of making this blog, or if more complete versions pop up, I'll review those using those copies.

About the infamous Lafflets, since none of them survive, they won't be covered here. But if any of them do surface, I'll get around to reviewing those as "bonus posts"

Now what do I mean by "bonus posts"? For shorts that don't count towards the general filmography, these will be designated as bonus posts. Some examples would be shorts like A Feather in His Collar and The Volunteer Worker. The segments from the compilation films, however, are currently up in the air if I'll cover those here.

I don't really plan for any sort of schedule for these, so they'll come out when I'm able to put these out, as I plan to write a backlog of posts, so I don't have to rush any posts out and have them looking sloppy.

Anyway, join me, my friends, as we analyze these animated classics!
